NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF PLAN or PROGRAMME
FOREST POLICY REVIEW: Forests, products and people- Ireland’s forest policy- a renewed vision.
In accordance with Article 9.1 of DIRECTIVE 2001/42/EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 June 2001 on the assessment of the effects of certain plans and programmes on the environment
and
in accordance with the European Communities (Environmental Assessment of Certain Plans and Programmes) Regulations, 2004
and
in accordance with the European Communities (Environmental Assessment of Certain Plans and Programmes) (Amendment) Regulations, 2011
the Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine hereby gives notice of the adoption of the Plan - Forest Policy Review: Forests, products and people – Ireland’s forest policy – a renewed vision.
The Plan - Forest Policy Review: Forests, products and people – Ireland’s forest policy – a renewed vision is accompanied by an Environmental Report.
The Plan - Forest Policy Review: Forests, products and people – Ireland’s forest policy – a renewed vision and the Environmental Report are available for inspection and a copy shall be kept available for inspection accordingly during normal office hours at the Department’s offices at:
Kildare Street,
Dublin 2.

The SEA Statement summarises -
how environmental considerations have been integrated into the plan or programme, or modification to a plan or programme, how the environmental report was prepared pursuant to article 12, submissions and observations made to the competent authority in response to a notice under article 13, and how any consultations under article 14, have been taken into account during the preparation of the plan or programme, or modification to a plan or programme, the reasons for choosing the plan or programme, or modification to a plan or programme, in the light of the other reasonable alternatives dealt with, and the measures decided upon to monitor, in accordance with article 17, the significant environmental effects of implementation of the plan or programme, or modification to a plan or programme.
