ERA-NETSs
From time to time this Department provides funding from one or more of its three competitive public good research funding programmes (FIRM, Stimulus & CoFoRD) to facilitate participation of researchers in Irish public research organisations (RPOs) in Calls run by ERA-NETs of significant relevance to the Agri-Food (including Forestry) sector such as EMIDA, WOODWISDOM and ICT-AGRI. Overall funding will be limited to a set ceiling for each eligible Call and intending applicants will have to adhere to a set of national eligibility criteria. Details of funded Calls will be posted on the Department website as they arise and Research Offices of relevant Irish public RPOs will be alerted via email.
Funding for participation in Call 2 of ICT-AGRI launched on 23rd March 2012
DAFM invites participation from public research performing organisations (RPOs) based in Ireland (excluding Teagasc1) with a proven capability and track record in ICT and automation research to address the topics outlined in Call 2 of ICT-AGRI. DAFM's Research Stimulus Fund Programme will provide funding of up to a maximum of €225,000 over the duration of the project to successful Irish participants.
