09 July 2018 Minister Creed met the Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz who was on a visit to Ireland  Minister Creed brought the Austrian Chancellor to visit the border region.  They were able to discuss the challenges Brexit poses to the area. 
30 June 2018 Minister Creed welcomed French Agriculture Minister To Cork

Michael Creed welcomed his French counterpart, Mr Stéphane Travert to Cork for a two day visit to Ireland. Both Minister’s met for discussions on a number of issues, including Brexit.

28 June 2018 Minister Creed hosted a Brexit Fisheries Discussion in Galway

Minister Creed delivered the opening address at this event which focussed on the current state of play in the Brexit negotiations and how they relate specifically to fisheries.

13 June 2018 Minister Creed met with his UK counterpart, Michael Gove MP, Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in London.

The Minister and the Secretary of State discussed a number of issues concerning Brexit, including matters relating to the agri-food and fisheries sector, and the equine sector.

06 June 2018 Minister Creed held a meeting in Dublin with the Committee on Agriculture and Viticulture of the federal parliament  of Rhineland-Palatinate Minister Creed discussed the enormous significance of Brexit from an Irish perspective, both politically (including Northern Ireland aspects) and economically, before focusing on the implications for the agri-food sector.
05 June 2018 Minister Creed held bilateral meetings with the Belgian Minister for Agriculture Denis Ducarme and the Danish Agriculture Minister Jakob Ellemann-Jensen on the margins of the Informal Council of Agriculture Ministers in Sofia, Bulgaria

The discussions focused on the current situation in relation to Brexit in the lead-up to this month’s European Council, and on CAP reform issues following the recent publication by the Commission of its proposals for the post-2020 period.

02 May 2018 Minister Creed held a bilateral with the French Minister of Agriculture M. Stéphanie Travert in Paris

The meeting was an opportunity to further deepen Ireland’s relationship with the French Minister of Agriculture and to update him on the current position on Brexit from an Irish perspective.

This was Minister Creed’s first formal engagement with Minister Klöckner following her appointment in March, the Minister discussed Brexit, CAP reform and the EU budget.
