Irish Codex Activities
Ireland’s participation in Codex is coordinated through the Irish Codex Contact Point (Ruairí Colbert, ruairi.colbert@agriculture.gov.ie ) based in the Research & Codex Division of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM). Officials from a number of government departments and state agencies are involved in representing Ireland at Codex sessions reflecting the mix of expertise in and responsibilities for the complex range of issues under discussion.

DAFM operates an Irish Codex Advisory Committee (ICAC) that affords the main stakeholders in Ireland an opportunity to contribute to the formulation of the Irish position on all Codex issues.
